The Big Green Egg Testimonials

We have owned our Green Egg for about 1 1/2 years. I would estimate we use it 3-4 times per week on average to smoke or grille our meals. From a smoked Thanksgiving Day turkey to grilled ribs, it is a fantastic way to prepare a meal and enjoy the patio!

All I can say is You can't cook a turkey like this on a regular grill. Dallas, I LOVE my green egg. After buying no less than 4 or 5 gas grills over the past 15 years (never seem to last longer than 3 years without problems)I am thrilled so far with my egg. First, it cooks meat tenderly (you have to use the thermometer or you will never figure out when the meat is done). Second, There are literally thousands of recipes and videos so for amateurs like me you don't even have to know what you are doing to really impress people and cook a great meal. Finally here's a tip, use the Green Egg lump charcoal. I tried the cheap Wal-mart stuff and it flares up and burns the bottom of the meat which can be difficult since you rarely open the top when the meat is cooking.
