All SpaGuard® programs begin with kits that include everything you need to start and maintain your spa or hot tub – all in one convenient box. SpaGuard® also offers you a complete line of products that are formulated to work well with our sanitizing systems.

Keep in mind that even if your spa is equipped with ozone generator or some form of ion device, you still need to refer to this Spa Care and Maintenance Guide. Ozone and ionizers are supplemental treatments and are not "stand alone" spa care programs.

Brominating Program

Your best bet for indoor or covered spas. Brominating sanitizer reduces odors and is also more effective in killing certain types of algae.

Chlorinating Program

If you have an uncovered outdoor spa, chlorination is the better method of sanitation. That's because the ultraviolet rays of the sun can destroy the sanitizer residual. The SpaGuard® chlorinating system also oxidizes; meaning it eliminates undesirable compounds – such as oils, cosmetics and perspiration – from the water.
